Ask around to some local clubs, old balls. They march through the ball very quickly and often to get rid of many balls in perfect condition. Of course, there would be many dead balls in the mix too, but it is still an adequate supply.
As snow is likely to ensure it easier for all students to bring their own? I mean, they can at Wal-Mart for cheap. Thus, the cost would be shared between students, rather than relying on one source.
You can also just ask the families of executives donated new or gently used. You really need 20 or more bats, enough for a gym class, and those that can be shared by all students, the devices need.

Schools often have a booster club, a club that is set by the parents of pupils at the school. They consist essentially meetings of coaches and equipment needed will be collected and let them know. Since it is usually a time of donation, or have transferred a certain kind of unity and the money to the sport or the team needs new equipment out. Ask your teacher or principal, if no such program.
