What happened to source code collections from BBS/FTP days? - bbs sites
It had collected BBS and FTP sites, a large number of public domain source code. Many of these programs were "classic" live in nearly ever ... Everything seemed to have changed in the last 10 years. I know on SourceForge, and many large projects with their own web pages. But what about smaller programs? Where can I go?

I would say that most have been lost by the BBS and FTP sites that have been lost. Many special things that has been taken, were never really legal, or simply no longer exists. The search for specific things that might help, but it's a bit like dinosaurs. We know that already exists to find, but the bone is rare. Pivy.
